Continued
revitalization and growth of our local economy is
job one for your State Representative in Jefferson City.
As
a businessman and employer for many years, I understand how the
burden of bureaucracy and taxes weigh on our local economy.
As
your elected representative, I will focus tirelessly on
establishing the business climate necessary to bring new jobs
and businesses to our communities, and I will work to create an
environment where our existing businesses can grow and expand
the number of high quality jobs for our citizens.
Government
must focus on eliminating waste, and delivering the highest
quality services at the lowest cost. The efficient use of
technology can reduce unnecessary spending, and hold taxes at
the lowest possible level, while maintaining a balance budget within
our State. Whenever possible, our tax dollars must be directed
to programs at the local level and to local businesses, where
such programs can best stimulate and grow our economic base,
instead of growing an inefficient government bureaucracy.
As
a small businessman, I believe in the creative, entrepreneurial spirit
and capabilities of our local businesses, I will strive to
empower our local economy through the talents of those
businesses and those that they employ.
