Abraham Lincoln cherished a nation “of the people, by the people, for the people.”  Not lobbyists.  Not big money special interests. 

Lobbyists and special interest groups seek to control the legislative agenda in our State Capitol.  Many of them are not Missourians, but they are eager to tell Missouri citizens how to govern our State.

I vow to represent the people of Howell County, and to steadfastly articulate the conservative beliefs and convictions of our citizens.  I value the input of all constituents of my district, and vow to fight the “pay to play” politics that exist in today’s legislative environment.

I will vote in the best interests of Howell County citizens, and not the pressure of big money special interests.  I will support the adoption of tougher contribution and lobbying laws to prevent such blatant abuse of our democratic system of government.
